Predicting the media future is as certain an undertaking as predicting the next Super Bowl champion. Great technologies do not always succeed-remember consumer video Beta? quadraphonic sound? HD DVD? Nor do great companies always survive--the Crosley Corporation is just one of many one-time industry leaders that no longer exists.
But preparing students to meet the challenges of careers in the ever-changing media industries is an entirely different matter. And that is exactly what we in BECA do!
We use our talents and expertise to teach students to think, to communicate, to adapt and to succeed. And what better way to kick off a new year than to spend time together developing and refining our collective vision.
